Special
Thanks
Over the past 4 years we've had lots of phone calls, emails,
letters, and visitors. Each one of you has helped enrich the
program, breathe life into our organization, and inspired
us to reach beyond our wildest dreams. For this, we cannot
thank you enough.
We have also been fortunate to have a few corporations donate
services to help us spread our Massachusetts Miracles around
not only our state, but the entire nation (and sometimes beyond)!
For that, we offer a special 'thank you' to:
We
would also like to honor our stellar State Coordinators, Kaitlyn
Dearth and Mackenzie Zahara
- these amazing young women have done it all! They’ve
helped correct some behavior issues with our beloved Doodle,
and managed to get Lady Margaret to act more lady-like. They've
helped write set of rules for the younger children in the
barn, and when the children come to the farm, they dive right
in and show them the ropes. They’ve worked on our state’s
volunteer training program, and when the time came to write
up a list of fundraising ideas, they handed me a 10-item list!
Now they are helping us on a letter writing campaign to raise
money for our state to grow and to build barns and fencing
for new placements. Thank you again, Mackenzie
and Kaitlyn – we can’t
imagine a day at the barn without you!
And last but certainly not least: We have to mention a very special thank you to our beloved pony Bette (Del Terra Bette Davis Eyes) who gave so much love to so many people, children and adults over the years. You are missed terribly & may you rest in peace. Bette crossed the Rainbow Bridge in July of 2007. |
